The TARDIS lands in 1911, in the home of sibling scientists Laurence and Marcus Scarman. Laurence desperately needs the Doctor's help. Marcus is not the same since an archaeological visit to Egypt. Cloth-wrapped mummies roam the grounds, killing people. And he's detecting strange radio signals from the surface of Mars.
