Summary
Three sisters (Prue, Piper and Phoebe; Prue was “replaced” by Paige from the 4th season) discover that they are powerful witches: Prue has telekinetic powers, Piper can freeze people and objects, Phoebe sees into the future and the past, and Paige is able to teleport objects. Together (the “Power of Three”), they have to fight against demons and other evil entities that threaten the world.

Egyptomania narratives or motifs
In “Feats of Clay” (S01E11), an Egyptian urn is stolen in Egypt by three men, triggering a curse. Two of the robbers try to sell the urn via one of the sisters, Prue, who works in an auction house. Subsequently, the three witches try to calm down the spirit protecting the urn. The representation of a woman in profile, in the Egyptian style, is engraved on the urn (see screenshot). The spirit emerges from this image and can materialize in a female human form. Her hair is gathered in braids with pearls, and she wears a heavy crown. This headdress is round, with some golden touches and other pearls, and is decorated with a sort of amulet in the form of a winged cobra placed in a circle. She wears a multi-strand necklace around her neck, and she is dressed in a golden drape attached at chest level with a beaded ensemble (see second screenshot).
In “Y Tu Mummy También” (S05E10), a soul of an Egyptian witch, named Isis, lives forever by finding hosts. Her lover, a demon, is in charge of finding the perfect body for her, and one by one, two sisters are possessed. The demon manages to transfer the mummy's spirit into Phoebe's body. Dressed in the oriental style, she then begins a belly dance for her beloved one. Paige is dressed in a long drape rather reminiscent of the Greek world (see third screenshot).
